JavaZone går av stapeln den 17-18 September i Olso. Sista dagen att skicka in papper är den 14 April.

We would like to inform you that call for presentations for JavaZone 2008 now has opened.

To take place in Oslo, Norway, on 17-18 September 2008, the conference will offer a combination of technical talks and panels in an informal atmosphere with 2000-2400 attendees. JavaZone 2008 will be the seventh consecutive JavaZone conference.

Last year’s conference was a massive success, with more than 2200 software professionals and partners enjoying over 100 sessions covering multiple topics, and an impressive lineup of internationally known speakers. Leading evangelists in the community rate JavaZone as one of the most important Java events in Europe. Here are some quotes:

”This show is definitely similar to JavaPolis in many ways. You can tell that the conference committee has a lot of fun with it and the show is huge. I think these beat JavaOne hands down.” –Dion Almaer

”JavaZone totally rocks!” –Alex Popescu

The JavaZone conference is organized by javaBin, the Norwegian Java User Group (JUG). javaBin is an idealistic, non-profit organization established in 1996 by a group of Java enthusiasts. The JUG has since evolved to be the leading group for the promotion of Java in Scandinavia.

The following topics will be covered by JavaZone 2008:

* Core Java, AOP and utilities
* Enterprise application development and integration
* Java Web Technologies
* Embedded, Mobile and Gaming
* Experience reports
* Methodology, Usability and Business

The conference also has a very highly regarded ClubZone during the evening of the first conference day, where the conference delegates will have ample opportunities for mingling and socializing at various bars and clubs in the vicinity of the conference venue.
